Ugh dial-up!! ...Found you through the link up. :)

Ugh dial-up!! The worst was when my uncle showed my parents how to disconnect it by picking up and hanging up the phone multiple times in a row. Bane of my existence! The office where our computer was located was right next to the bathroom, so my parents would regularly get up in the night to pee and see the glowing light from the screen at 1 AM. If it was a weekend, I was online chatting on AOL until my mom threatened me with bodily injury.

And Napster - LOVED Napster. Everything was illegal and free and wonderful. ;) I was the first of my friends to have a CD burner so I was a hot commodity there for awhile!Vanessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05375915405727859823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1841402070953783724.post-60743136454688319882014-04-23T10:47:50.087-04:002014-04-23T10:47:50.087-04:00We had dial up and a landline all through college ...We had dial up and a landline all through college too. Waiting for it to connect was the worst. I think I still have that sound memorized. I found one of my old mix tapes from the radio a few years ago. I'm pretty sure it's all rap music. Haha! I wish I had a tape player to listen to it.
