C and I have been thinking for a little bit now about getting a puppy sister for Grover (although probably not an actual puppy). I found this princess last night, and now I'm in love.

Don't her eyes just implore you to take her home? |
We'll see though. I sort of have this weird mom guilt re: taking Grover's only-child-dom away from him. Is that weird? That's weird, right?
My dad sent this to me today, and it made me laugh.

Also, my May Recommendations are up today over at
Life According to Steph. Go check them out!!
I felt the same when we agreed to adopt Geege. Like sorry for Gus. But let me tell you, it was the best thing we did. They're thick as thieves. I really do think dogs feel better with another dog.
ReplyDeleteI get this! I think it's because I grew up only having one dog (and I don't think there was any way on earth I could have loved another dog), so in my mind, that's how it's supposed to be. But Steph's right - dogs are pack animals and love being around other dogs! It's going to be a long time before we can give our dog a dog sister, but I know he would love it.
ReplyDeleteDogs are pack animals. I have three. Sure they adopt humans as their pack members but it is kind of of a "one of these things is not like the other" situation. Welcome Princess to your pack. There will be discontent sometimes but that is the case with family.
ReplyDeletethat meme also applies to children hahahaah!!
